Sony has announced its smallest PC yet, the Sony VGN-UX50. The VGN-UX50 is about the size of a paperback book but runs full Windows XP on an intel Centrino processor. It includes built-in fingerprint reader, a camera for web conferencing, and a companion Bluetooth GPS receiver. It also includes a 4.5 inch LCD screen with 1024 x 600 resolution.

Digital World Tokyo has the device in hand and has written up a review. Check the Full Story link for the full review.

The UX50 will be available in Japan on May 27 and in the US sometime in July, and will sell for about $1,800 US.
