With the new movie Superman Returns expected this summer, Alienware is releasing a Superman-themed laptop and desktop in limited edition. Only 350 laptops and 250 desktops will be available. Both machines will be Superman themed and will include a desktop theme and certificate of authenticity. The desktop will also include an exclusive mouse pad.

The Area-51 Superman Edition Desktop is powered by a dual-core Pentium D processor and will sell for $1,899. The expected ship date is July 3.

This Area-51 notebook is also powered by an Intel Core Duo processor. Prices will start at $2,539. The expected ship date is July 10.
