John Mayer, a known BlackBerry user, had 3.7 million followers on his Twitter account, but he has decided to close the account. A spokesman for Mayer said he closed his account with his Battle Studies Tour "now at a close and a return to the studio planned." Mayer plans to keep in touch with his fans via his blog.

Did Mayer just get tired of tweeting? Is Jennifer Aniston back in the picture but demanding he stop tweeting? Who knows....
